LE SCHICKEN No 8 – Der Koch und die See
Le Schicken is a quartely Berlin based culinary interview magazine dedicated to high–end gastronomy chefs, high quality regional manufacturers and foodies. Number 8 is titled “Der Koch und die See“ (“The Cook and the Sea“). The Sea in title here does not refer to a typical perspective of a warm crystal–turqouise coloured place surrounded by palmtrees, but the German Nordsee/ North Sea–a gloomy, cold and grey place. Were the nature demostrates both its destructive and peaceful side at the same time. The whole issue has been photographed by Florian Bolk, one of top German top food photographers and it has been photo manipulated by me. The goal of the art direction was to merge the photos with the content into one whole with the photography in lead position and the content following.
